JOEL STRANSKY

Joel Stransky is a former South African rugby union rugby player who played as a fly-half for the Springboks in 22 tests and kicked the famous drop goal winning South Africa its first Rugby World Cup over the formidable New Zealand All Blacks in 1995. Joel also represented Natal and Leicester Tigers before establishing himself as a prominent rugby commentator with Supersport.

Sir John Kirwan scored 35 tries in 63 tests for New Zealand and was part of the New Zealand team that won the first Rugby World Cup in 1987. He has coached the Blues as well as the Japan and Italy national teams. A record breaking try scorer, John played a major role in the All Blacks’ 23 test unbeaten run from 1987 to 1990. In 1989, was appointed as a Member of the Order of the British Empire for services to rugby.

DAVID CAMPESE

‘Campo’ made his debut for the Wallabies in 1982 and scored tries in each of his first two tests against the formidable All Blacks. He went on to make 101 test appearances scoring 315 points over a 14 year test career in which he ‘wowed’ crowds with his goose steps and explosive running. He held the record for the most test tries and was named Player of the Tournament for the 1991 Rugby World Cup.

TAKARO MIUCHI

Miuchi is Japanese rugby union player, who predominantly played in the number eight position. He captained the national team in 45 out of his 48 test matches. He played for NEC Green Rockets in the Top League after representing the Oxford Blue in the traditional fixture against Cambridge University at Twickenham Stadium in 1998. He played in both 2003 and 2007 World Cup's as a captain and he was selected for the World 15 in 2006. He retired from rugby in 2014 and he is currently coaching for Hino Red Dolphins.

ÉMILE NTAMACK

Émile is a former French rugby union footballer who played in 1995 and 1999 World Cup squads. Ntamack coached the Espoirs team of the Stade Toulousain and the French U21 team which was the first Northern Hemisphere side to win the World Championships. Ntamack was the first man to lift the Heineken Cup, winning it in Cardiff Arms Park in 1996 and again in 2003 before he eventually retired in 2004.

ANDY GOMARSALL

Andy is a Rugby World Cup winner in 2003 & 2007 RWC finalist, playing for 7 premiership clubs spanning 17 years. He was awarded an MBE for services to Rugby in 2004 for his part in winning the world cup in 2003. & now in 2019, a world record holder with his charity the School of hard knocks for the longest ever rugby match, 30 hours!
